Our experience with Southern Indiana Home Care began 2 years ago. My 90+ year old mother-in-law needed help with showers. We were very satisfied with the twice a week showers provided by SIHC.
Mom’s situation changed radically when she broke her hip last year. She was discharged from the hospital to hospice care. We needed 24/7 home care and help to learn how to best support Mom’s needs. SIHC was very responsive and helped us deal with a difficult time.
SIHC played a significant role in supporting Mom’s recovery. Her home care needs have diminished. SIHC has been responsive in adjusting staffing levels as needed.
Sometimes we need extra home care when we are out of town. Recently SIHC provided 5 days of 24 hour care so we could visit our grandchildren in Texas.We are very satisfied with SIHC’s service. They are responsive and make it possible for Mom to live at home.

My beloved mother received care from Southern Indiana Homecare when she was no longer able to safely take care of herself in her home. She wanted to stay home until she died, and SIHC made that possible. Us kids lived out of state and came to visit regularly, but we couldn’t be there for the day-in and day-out caregiving. We are forever grateful for the quality care our mother received. She was very resistant to accepting help, but the care givers learned how to work with her. Several of them bonded with Mom in a way I never thought would be possible. In her final days, SIHC helped us keep Mom in her beautiful home. They knew when to step forward and when to step away.
